Esteban starts with a thorough hand wash of the full exterior to remove loose dirt, road grime, and surface contamination. Nothing gets coated over the top of filth, every panel is cleaned before anything else touches the paint.

The ceramic coating Esteban applies carries a five-year protection rating. How long it actually performs at its best depends on how the car is maintained after application. Regular hand washing and avoiding automatic brush washes will keep it performing well throughout that period.
The main rule is to avoid automatic brush washes, they will degrade the coating faster than anything else. Hand washing or touchless washes are the right choice. Wash regularly so contaminants do not sit on the surface long enough to etch in. You do not need any special products, but a ceramic-safe wash soap helps.
